Must Visit Hotel in Africa

Africa is such a special continent full of culture, history and incredible tourism. There are SO many amazing places to go depending on what country you visit. I went to an international school twice to learn English a few years ago and another one to pursue a master’s degree and I met people from Nigeria, South Africa, Kenya, Morocco, Ethiopia and others.

They all have things in common like they cook amazing food with very strong flavors sometimes too strong, they have a special heart and are always kind and respectful of others, and most importantly they have this cheerful spirit with their unique music genres and dances, it’s beautiful. Imagine all of this in addition to a one-of-a-kind safari or hotel where you can see all the animals right at your door. This is Africa’s Tourism!

Giraffe Manor

This remarkable 5-star hotel is located in Nairobi, which is the capital of Kenya, and around 45 minutes from the Jomo Kenyatta International airport. The hotel architecture is like one of those traditional European mansions from the movies but this one is in the middle of nature and surrounded by giraffes.

Everything is very elegant and the whole staff is committed to ensuring that all guests enjoy that special moment they came to experience at Giraffe Manor.

Everything is decorated with a giraffe print from the breakfast plates to the salt and pepper bottles. Okay so what is the special moment everyone visits Giraffe Manor for? Is it just to enjoy the views and watch giraffes pass by the hotel?

Special Moment

Well the very special moment happens at breakfast. Breakfast is ready very early by 6am before sunlight and all the 12 guestrooms gather and open their tall windows to feed giraffes before they depart to the wild nature.

Another option special for honeymooners who decided to do breakfast in the room is feeding the giraffes from their room window.

Prices & Amenities

With everything special about this place comes the special price as well, a night can start from $875 per person including all food and beverage, arrival and departure transfers, and a sightseeing vehicle for safaris. A massage therapist is available for a charge.

Giraffe Manor is perfectly located outside of the city of Nairobi within a sanctuary for endangered Rothschild’s giraffes that is owned and preserved by AFEW and the Safari collection.

This place is not open for the public; it’s only reserved for those with pre-arrival bookings to make it exclusive for the guests paying the high amount of $ and to avoid disturbing the animals.

Safari collection owns Giraffe Manor and three more distinctive hotels as well. If you are familiar with Kenya’s map, this is where the three properties are. They all have something unique to offer like Giraffe Manor does.

They’re also around the same price. Safari collection also has tours on its own like safaris, helicopter rides, etc. and if you book those experience you may be eligible to visit the Giraffe Manor’s garden. If you want to learn more check out their website.
